I am Taiwanese American and my craft is with leather. I use nontoxic vegetable tanned tooling leather to make leather pouches, flowers, bags, sandals and leathercraft related items. I employ a variety of techniques from engraving and stamping to molding and hand twisting. I marble and hand stain the leather in many cases.
Vegetable tanned tooling leather is non-toxic, environmental friendly. Most of the big brand names handbags companies such as: Louis Vuitton and Gucci, they choose the same type of leather as well.
I love and enjoy playing with colors. For me, colors have high vibe and very therapeutic. I always fully immerse myself into coloring while in the process of my creation. I often wonder who would be that lucky person to own this leathercraft item I have just created hereafter to enjoy the beauty, quality and functionality.
