I began painting with oils in 2003 when a colleague of mine ( the Art teacher) invited me to join her on a workshop in southern France. I had always dabbled in art but I had never painted with oils or Plen aire before. It was a life changing experience and I’ve never looked back . My favorite subjects are nature and birds in nature although I’ve also painted dogs. Painting is like meditating. I truly get “in the zone” while creating art.
